François Schuiten has been asked to design parts of the buildings of the Expo 2000 in Hannover, Germany. You can find all the facts on http://www.expo2000.de/englisch/themenpark/index.html

Mitya Suchin has made some pictures of the model at the Aedes Exibit and  the Expo show at the ITB´99 tourism fair, now on stage in Berlin.

This is what he wrote us about the models:

"Model 1 shows the Babel Tower on the left, with the Myth Tower in upper center, the Robot Tower on the right just under the globes and the "Gigantic" hidden under the vault on the very right. The Paradise Garden (Model 2) lies as a quarter-circle volume in the Babel Tower. I was unable to uncover the purposed use of the rooms in the upper part of Model 3. Yet on this shot one can easier imagine the placing of Paradise Gardens, they are at the inner concentric wall of the Babel Tower, receiving light from shorter sides and from above. Model 4, in its turn, shows a glimpse of "Gigantic" on the left, whereas Model 5 has it in the background. "
